George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
George Bush Airport is the primary passenger airport and international airport of Houston, TX. It is located approximately 25 miles north of the Holiday Inn Hotel in Houston – Medical Center. Guests traveling to our Houston hotel from George Bush Airport have a number of transportation options:
- SuperShuttle: $24, door-to-door shared shuttle service, one-way, the SuperShuttle counter is located in the main baggage claim
- Taxi: $51, door-to-door taxi service, one-way, ground transportation personnel outside every terminal will assist you in hailing a taxi
- Airport Direct Shuttle: $15, non-stop shuttle bus to downtown Houston, one-way. From downtown, catch the METRORail at Downtown Transit Center Station and ride to Texas Medical Center Station. The hotel is located 2 blocks from your stop
Driving Directions from George Bush Intercontinental Airport:
From the airport, take JFK Blvd. and merge onto N Sam Houston Pkwy E/Sam Houston Tollway E/Texas 8 Beltway E. Exit US-59 S and continue for 16 miles. From US-59, exit Fannin St. Turn right on University Blvd. then left at Main St. Our Texas Medical Center hotel will be on your right.
William P. Hobby Airport (HOU)
Hobby Airport was Houston's primary airport before the opening of George Bush. Today it mostly serves local transportation, the southern United States and private customers. Located only 10 miles from Holiday Inn Medical Center Hotel in Houston, you should fly in to HOU if possible to save on transfer costs.

Driving Directions from William P. Hobby Airport:
From the airport, head toward Old Telephone Rd. Turn right at Braniff, then right on Telephone Rd. Take the ramp to TX-35 N. Merge onto I-45N. Take exit 46B toward US-59 S/Victoria. Exit US-59 S toward Victoria. Exit Fannin. Turn right on University Blvd. then left at Main St. Our downtown Houston hotel will be on your right.
