Holiday Inn Houston Hotel Reviews by Our Guests

Holiday Inn Houston Medical Center is a hotel with heart. That means being there for you is our number one priority. Whether it's a friendly dining suggestion or a ride to MD Anderson, we believe that our service should be just as much a pleasure for you as it is for us.

We're delighted to see that our guests agree. Read Holiday Inn Houston hotel reviews of past guests who have declared us one of the best hotels in Houston, TX:

"Best Medicine
My caregiver and I became members of a most distinguished family during my Cancer treatment at MD Anderson CC. My extended family includes everyone at this location from the hotel manager to the cleaning, dining and driving staff. This hotel offers all the amenities one would expect for a vacation or business stay but for those of us seeking cancer treatment it is the 'home' we look forward to after a hard day at 'The Hospital'. I believe that 'The Holiday Inn' and its' warm and caring staff was part of my treatment and hopefully my cure!"

"Wow.
Stayed 4 nights with my girlfriend while she had some tests at MD Anderson Center. Good location for medical center patients, good shuttle service, nice enough pool. The restaurant was really good. Had the breakfast buffet every morning and room service for dinner one night – again really good. Our air conditioning gave out after one hour and we called the front desk, expecting some kind of hassle. The technician was there in 2 minutes and fixed it."

"They really took care of me.
Customer service is the buzz word at this hotel. From the time I got there to the time I left, every staff member was personable, helpful, and friendly. With all the hotel options, this is what will bring me back here. Things like a free local shuttle to hospitals, shopping, and restaurants make this hotel stand out from the rest. Even the hotel general manager stopped to ask my group how our stay had been."

"It's all about BASEBALL baby!
We stayed at this GREAT hotel that was just FANNNNNNNNNNTASTIC, what a charming hotel for my daughter and myself to stay. This hotel is close to the metro line that took us to the game on Sunday (CARDINALS WON 4-2). I mean if you are really looking for a GREAT service hotel close to happenings of H Town this is the joint. The staff at this hotel were AWESOME and the people staying were just good down home folks; looking for "home away from home", this is the place."

"Super Value! Great Service! Perfect for Med Center travel
I have been to the Med Center several times and normally stay at the Marriott on Fannin. This Holiday Inn is just down the street and appox 1/3 the price for much more value. The package I got included a great cooked to order or buffet breakfast and parking and the King Suite. Everything was above average and to be brief they have a new client."

"Great hotel for access to Texas Medical Center
Stayed here to visit mother-in-law in St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital. Able to walk to hospital-just two blocks away and not deal with the parking garage and/or Houston traffic. Otherwise, positives include great beds and pillows, small kitchen with microwave, refrigerator and stove (for the same price as a room without a kitchenette). Weekend rates were great."

"Great place!
I had a great experience. Excellent service, the staff was really on explaining how to go to the places I wanted. I could walk from the train station to the hotel without any problem! Clean rooms, in front of the medical center and has a free shuttle to and from several places in the city, including the hospitals."

"Excellent staff – very good place for medical stay
The best thing about this place is its staff...we arrived tired and stressed outside the normal hours. We were treated with clam kindness then and throughout our entire stay. We had to make reservation changes twice, and it was done easily – no fuss, no tension. The shuttle to-from medical centers was prompt and reliable. All in all, I'd come here again, and the people behind the desk, each one of them – unmatched in kindness and competence."

"Clean, comfortable, perfect location by medical center. Would stay again.
Beautiful lobby, lots of comfortable seating. Nice bar off lobby with TV's. Clean and fresh smelling. Always someone who's helpful at front desk. Terrific maid service. Safe and beautiful area. Safe for single females. Highly recommended, I've talked to people that have been here for 5 months for medical treatment. But not everyone who stays here is for medical reasons! This is THE best hotel to stay for the yearly Houston Rodeo."

"Caring, easy and hospitable
My mom and I spent two weeks at this hotel during her cancer treatment at MD Anderson. The entire staff was extremely friendly and caring considering most people who stay there are in medical treatment. My mom and I were scared about her medical treatments. They made us feel normal and comfortable. My favorite part was when the bus driver would give a motivational speech about the power of miracles on the way to the hospitals. The service is full of heart."

"Great PLACE and great LOCATION
My friends and I stay for an event at Reliant. It is a great location with friendly staff, the suite that we had originally requested was not available but they were able to upgrade us to a bigger suite which worked out better for us since there was three of us. It was a two bedroom suite, one room had a king bed and the other room had two queens, and the living room area was great."
